Spelinspektionen prohibits additional companies from offering illegal gambling

The Spelinspektionen， the Swedish Gambling Authority， has published a new story doubling down on prohibiting illegal gambling activities by compiling a list of regulatory decisions on its website， as well as its strategy for working against illegal activities.

The list contains 32 banned operators and providers， such as Winners Entertainment， Viking Technology and most recently， Perfect Storm.

Perfect Storm was handed its ban on 2 November， after it was discovered that it was operating its website under the brand name 500 Casino (csgo500.com) without a licence.

This was a problem because the site had information on the website in Swedish， as well as having specific terms and conditions that referred to customers living in Sweden.

In response， the Spelinspektionen has banned the site from operating in the country.

Each of the listings contains a PDF explaining the reasons for the ban， as well as any actions taken.

The Spelinspektionen hopes that by emphasising these two points of information together， operators can understand how seriously the Authority is taking illegal gambling activity in the country.

Following an investigation， Videoslots was given a fee of SEK 9m ($810，000) for failures in money laundering and financing terrorism.
